On TV they always show all the drama happening in high school, but to me I find it very inaccurate. Junior high is the pulsing singularity of all drama. It is where all teenagers are in there confused, hormonal stage of life where they feast off of it. They just can't get enough!
The reason I am saying this is because of what happened yesterday. My three friends and I were just peacefully eating our lunch at MacDonalds when two skanks from my school wandered through the door with their their faces caked in makeup. These girls have tried to pick fights with us before but we mostly try to ignore them. So on the TV's in the MacDonalds, they were playing Fraggle Rock, and these girls just so happened to be sitting right underneath the TV. All of a sudden one a girls, a blond, with a purple tna hoodie, walks up and says,
"Is there something wrong with me? Why do you keep looking at me?"
My friends and I explained to her that in fact, we were not looking at her, but rather watching Fraggle Rock. She then informs us that she is not stupid and that we were most definitely staring at her and her friends. I then proceed to ask to her leave us alone, for we did nothing to her. At this point, she is very offended and strides over to her friend, who's face looked like it was painted on by a 4-year-old. She was wearing and Ed Hardy shirt and a black tna hoodie. Apparently it was her mission in life to defend her short, blonde friend, so she marches up to our table to tell us to stop 'being such a b****'.
We probably should have just ignored her from there on, but we did not. We let her know that we didn't do anything, rather Ms. Blonde was the one starting all the ruckus. Of course, she chose not to believe us, and instead, starting to talk trash about my brother Jade, who was sitting at a table across the restaurant with his friends. So, probably more politely that she deserved, I asked her to stop talking about my brother. He nor I did anything to harm her. She gave me a look, then walked away fingering me.
I should have just left it at that, but my teenage girl instincts wanted to fight back. Nobody treats me or my family like that! So, I fingered her back. This is when things got interesting. She turns around, grabs the slurpie that my friend was drinking to (I assume) throw it on my head, however my friends grabs it back. They then end up having a tug-of-war over a slurpie cup, as Ms. Makeup face reaches out and pulls my friend's hair so hard that she fell onto the floor. Punching her in the head, and pulling her hair, I stand in shock, witnessing my friend being beaten up by the girl we all thought was all talk and no action. Boy were we wrong. They were having a brawl of punching, kicking and biting on the floor of a MacDonalds, and no one did anything. I didn't what else to do, so I stood there and yelled,
"Isn't anyone going to do something??"
FINALLY one of the customers, a tall black woman, decided to step in.
"Stop fighting!" she yelled as she pulled the girls apart, and pushed the bully who started all of this.
"Push me again! Push me again!" she scream at the woman, who then replied,
"I'll do more than that, I"ll slap you in the face!!"
This is when a security guard finally decides to show her face, and lets the girl know that if she didn't leave immediately, the police would be called.
SO, needless to say, I am scared to go to MacDonalds now, or school for that matter. I've definitely had my does of drama for the month. Possibly even year, and I hope that one day she gets locked away, and never to be heard from again.
Oh if only dreams could come true!!
Yikes! I can't believe that happened to you guys. I swear some people just go on a search for the drama, like they are bored or something. I'm glad you guys are okay now, don't be scared about going back in, I'm pretty sure those girls know that you guys can hold your own now.
